Set against the beautiful backdrop of Northern Arizona pines and mountain views, this modern mountain estate was designed to feel both elevated and connected to the natural landscape surrounding it.

Agassiz Landscape Group completed the full front and backyard landscape installation for this custom home, carefully balancing clean contemporary lines with natural textures and materials that complement the home's architecture.

The front yard landscape was designed to enhance the home's dramatic entry experience through thoughtfully placed plantings, decorative ground cover, natural boulder accents, and landscape enhancements surrounding the existing concrete stairways and entry sequence. Native and adaptive plantings soften the modern exterior while preserving the property's open forest setting.

In the backyard, the focus shifted toward outdoor living and gathering spaces. A custom outdoor fireplace lounge area creates a warm and inviting destination while paver walkways help connect the outdoor spaces naturally throughout the property. The combination of clean hardscape lines, natural materials, and open mountain views creates an outdoor environment that feels both refined and relaxed.

Throughout the project, our goal was to create a landscape that felt intentional, low maintenance, and timeless — allowing the home and surrounding views to remain the focal point while still delivering warmth, texture, and functionality.
