A Natural Landscape Brought to Life Through Planting

This residential landscape project focused on enhancing both the front and backyard through thoughtful planting design, irrigation, and carefully integrated landscape elements. Working within an existing framework, the goal was to bring new life to the property by softening the structure with natural plantings and creating cohesive outdoor spaces that feel balanced and intentional.

The front yard features a custom-built entrance gate constructed with welded gabions, creating a strong and distinctive sense of arrival. Surrounding terraced planting beds were designed and planted to complement the existing stonework, with a diverse mix of natural plants selected for texture, seasonal interest, and long-term growth. A professionally installed irrigation system supports plant health while maintaining efficiency and sustainability.

In the backyard, additional planting beds were thoughtfully filled to enhance the landscape and connect the outdoor living areas to the surrounding environment. Turf was installed to provide a clean, functional open space that balances the planting and hardscape elements. A fire pit and paver patio—existing elements integrated into the design—help anchor the space and create an inviting area for gathering and everyday use.

Together, the front and backyard come together as a cohesive residential landscape where planting plays a central role—bringing movement, color, and life to the property while working in harmony with the existing structure.
