We created a two-part system. First, we devised a Quality Control Report. This report is similar to the "punch-out sheets" one gets at an automotive lube shop. This report lists various tasks like mowing, raking, general clean-up, and the like. Before our crews depart the site, our foreman meets with a representative of the property and discusses what was accomplished that day. The second part of our unique communication strategy is mapping and goal setting. We draft a map of our properties and meet with a representative of the property management to discuss priorities of service, identifying specific problem areas we need to improve. Then at the prior-described punch-out meeting, we discuss our progress on the defined goals.
